I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Im Mai 2010 betrat Sony mit dem NEX-System die Bühne der spiegellosen Systemkameras. Diese Kameraklasse hat viel mit digitalen Kompaktkameras gemeinsam, etwa dass das Sucherbild elektronisch erzeugt wird. Von den digitalen Spiegelreflexkameras übernimmt sie hingegen die Möglichkeit, verschiedene Objektive ansetzen zu können.
Das jüngste Mitglied in dieser Familie hört nun auf den Namen Alpha 6000. Sie löst die NEX-6 ab und ersetzt zudem die NEX-7. Gleichzeitig verabschiedet sich Sony mit der Alpha 6000 von der Modellbezeichnung NEX. Alle Systemkameras von Sony – ob nun mit Spiegel im Strahlengang oder ohne – tragen nun nur noch den gemeinsamen Familiennamen »Alpha«.
