Common query reference

The following table shows some common queries running against the PageViews table we created in chapter 2. The PageViews table has three columns: UserId, Page, and Timestamp.

Table B.1 Common queries

Query	Description
`PageViews`	Returns all rows from the `PageViews` table.
`PageViews` `\| take 5`	Returns five rows from the `PageViews` table. `take` is useful for limiting the size of the output of a query.
`PageViews` `\| where UserId == 12345 or` `UserId == 10001`	Returns all rows where `UserId` is either `12345` or `10001`. `where` filters the data. Filters can be combined using logical operators (like `or` in this example).
`PageViews` `\| where Timestamp >= ago(1d)`	Returns all rows with ...
