So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Using Wi-Fi
Your a6000 is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi system that can be used for transferring files to a networked computer, networked HDTV, or to a smartphone or tablet computer. As we’ll see later, there’s also an option (with an app) to use the smartphone or tablet as a remote controller for the camera. The a6000 includes both traditional Wi-Fi capabilities and a newer protocol called Near Field Communications (NFC), which allows linking devices directly without an intervening network.
While basic Wi-Fi has become available with an increasing number of digital cameras, your Alpha a6000 goes a giant step further. Once connected to a network or hotspot, you can download apps (some free; others for $4.99 or $9.99) from a Sony website ...
