When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Working with Lenses
A couple of years ago, there were relatively few Sony E-mount lenses for mirrorless cameras with the typical size (16.5 × 23.5mm) sensor. The situation has significantly improved with additional models released by Sony, Zeiss, and other vendors. Of course, in another sense, there are dozens of lenses that will work reasonably well with the a6000, even if they weren’t specifically made for it. Any of the Sony AF or Minolta Maxxum/Dynax A-mount autofocus lenses designed for SLRs or for digital SLT cameras like the A77 ii and A99, can be used with the a6000 if you buy an optional Sony LA-series adapter.
Now that Sony is also making lenses in FE-mount, for the full-frame mirrorless Alpha a7-series, those lenses, too, will ...
