This chapter describes the methodology adopted for the present work. A brief overview of the CAC system for chest radiographs designed in this book are given as well as a general overview to the need for CAC systems, specifically for chest radiographs, and the importance of CAC systems in current scenarios due to the wide spread of COVID-19. The different approaches of designing CAC systems have been discussed with respect to the type of CNN used and the number of output classes.
