I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
In steps 1 and 2, we created a deep learning virtual machine in Azure. A deep learning virtual machine in Azure is a pre-configured environment to use GPU-based VM instances to train deep learning models. It is supported on either Windows 2016 or Ubuntu operating systems and has many data science tools pre-installed to enable building applications for advanced analytics.
In step 3, we configured the VM according to our requirements. In the Basics tab, you need to provide the following details:
- Name: This is the name of the VM instance.
- OS type: This is the type of OS support you need, either Windows or Ubuntu.
- Username: This is the username that you will use to log in to the VM.
