How it works...
In steps 1 and 2, we demonstrated how to launch an EC2 instance, which is a virtual server in AWS. In steps 3 and 4, we selected an RStudio server AMI with TensorFlow and Keras support. All of the software configuration details of your instance such as the application server, operating system, and other applications are stored in the AMI template.
In step 5 we selected a GPU-based instance type. AWS offers a choice of a mix of resources for your application. In step 6, we configured our instance as per our requirements. While configuring the instance, it is also possible to launch multiple instances from the same AMI.
