I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Ich habe schon lange vor meinem Studium angefangen, für das Internet zu gestalten. Ich habe meine Vorliebe für das Anpassen von Dingen wie Myspace und LiveJournal entdeckt und begonnen herauszufinden, wie man Photoshop benutzt und meine Webseiten mit CSS bearbeitet. Als Teenager war das nur ein Hobby. Erst in meinem letzten Jahr an der Highschool habe ich Grafikdesign als Berufswunsch in Betracht gezogen. Eigentlich wollte ich Modedesignerin werden, aber mein Portfolio war eher für Grafikdesign geeignet.
An der Universität belegte ich im Studiengang Design den Schwerpunkt New Media Design, der Web, Interaktivität, Video und Spezialeffekte umfasste. Ich erinnere mich zwar daran, dass ich die Grundlagen von HTML und CSS gelernt habe, aber ...
