This chapter introduced Configuration Management from the SCCM perspective, which is one of the important DevOps practices. It discussed various aspects of Version Control System including the types of version control and capabilities provided by VSTS for both Centralized and Distributed Version Control System. Git is the focus of this book from the Version Control System point of view. Differences between Git and TFVC were discussed.
