This book is about hands-on visual effects compositing techniques in the quest for photorealism for feature film and HDTV visual effects. This, the fifth edition, has been updated with the latest production techniques plus brand-new sections with the latest visual effects (VFX) compositing tech, namely virtual production, Cryptomattes, Universal Scene Description (USD), and, of course, artificial intelligence (AI).
