Menus, Macros, and the CUI Dialog Box
When you begin to look below the surface of AutoCAD as it is configured straight out of the box, you find a whole world of customization possibilities. This open architecture, which allows you to create your own menus, commands, toolbars, tool palettes, ribbon panels, and automated routines, is one of the reasons for AutoCAD’s success. It is characteristic of all AutoCAD releases and has allowed a vast network of third-party developers to create custom software products tailoring AutoCAD to the particular needs of various industries and tasks.
