Additional Tools for Collaboration
In addition to the drafting and customizing tools that are used by a single user at a computer workstation, there are numerous tools that are encountered only in collaborative environments, where the workspace extends beyond the individual and the individual computer. This appendix introduces an array of these tools that you will encounter in a collaborative environment. The tools presented here are not necessary for the completion of any independent drawing, but they quickly become necessary as you begin to share your drawings with others or receive drawings from others.
