Money

Instead

of

distributing presents, let us distribute money. Let us formulate the question

in

general:

have

n rupees that

we

want to distribute among k children.

Each

child must get

at

least one rupee (and,

of

course, an

integer number

of

rupees (coins)). In how many ways can

distribute the money?

Before answering this question,

must clarify the difference between distributing money and dis-
