Children in Action

The same principles of drawing adults in action can be applied to drawing children. But remember, children’s arms and legs are usually pudgier than those of an adult, and the proportions of children’s bodies are different.

Recognize how the line of action differs from the boy jumping for the ball and the girl gathering flowers. Also, adding a ground, field, or river also enhances your work by providing a nice background for your subject.
