When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Routing
It all starts with a route, doesn't it? Any interaction with a Drupal 8 website has its beginning in a user (or system) accessing a certain path (or resource). This translates into a route, which maps that resource to a flow that (hopefully) returns a successful response back or at least a graceful failure.
The Drupal 8 routing system is a major shift away from how it was in its previous versions. In Drupal 7 and earlier versions, the routing system was a very Drupal-specific thing (a drupalism, if you will). Many of us remember hook_menu as a staple hook each Drupal developer had to know very well.
