I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Mailing Lists
For the most part, mailing lists at eclipse.org are intended for use by developers working on day-to-day development of Eclipse itself. The development mailing lists are the way design and implementation issues are discussed and decisions voted on by the committers (developers who've earned write access to the source repository).
Anyone can listen in, but questions and discussions about using Eclipse and Eclipse-based tools or developing plug-ins should be posted to one of the newsgroups listed previously.
