So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Foreword
In my foreword to the first edition of this book, I wrote that the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) is a lot like the enormous rockets that carry NASA’s robots into space: powerful, sophisticated, essential, but ultimately just the launch vehicle that propels our creations safely to their destinations. Four years later, the RCP continues to serve as the launch vehicle for the tools that my team develops to control a broad variety of spacecraft and robots that drive, fly, float, and move in ways that defy categorization.
