WBS Principles, Steps, and Checklist

This chapter includes three parts that summarize the material presented in this book: (1) a set of WBS principles, (2) pragmatic steps for the project manager to follow in developing a WBS, and (3) a recommended checklist for the project manager to use in reviewing the WBS.

A checklist, like the WBS templates presented in the previous chapter, is not a substitute for thinking, and its use has some of the elements of thinking inside the box.
