Conceptually, booting the Linux kernel is not all that difficult.You need some
sort of “BIOS” that does the really low-level startup stuff.When the BIOS is done, it
runs the OS loader, which loads the OS from the boot media and jumps into it.The OS then
has control of the computer and continues bringing itself up.
