Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Produkten bringen KI-gesteuerte Produkte eine einzigartige Mischung aus Code, Daten, Algorithmen und Benutzererfahrung mit sich, die eine ganz eigene Entwicklungsgeschichte hervorbringt. Der AI Product Development Lifecycle (AIPDL)1 fasst die Phasen der Entwicklung eines KI-gestützten Produkts zusammen und stellt sicher, dass das Produkt den Bedürfnissen der Nutzer/innen entspricht und auf den Markt passt. In diesem Kapitel stelle ich zwei Arten von KI-Produkten vor, 0-to-1 und 1-to-n, und beschreibe, wie diese Produkte in den Phasen des AIPDL entwickelt werden. Die meisten KI-Produkte folgen dem AIPDL ziemlich genau, aber je nach Produkttyp kann die Zeit, die für jede Phase benötigt wird, variieren.
Arten von KI-Produkten
Die AIPDL hängt von der Art des KI-Produkts ab, das du herstellst. Wenn du in einem Startup-Unternehmen in der Frühphase arbeitest, arbeitest du vielleicht an 0-to-1-Produkten, bei denen du eine neue Technologie oder ein neues Modell auf ein neues Produkt anwendest, um eine Erfahrung zu schaffen, die es vorher nicht gab. Wenn du in einem etablierteren Unternehmen arbeitest, kannst du auch an 1-zu-n-Produkten arbeiten und ein bestehendes Produkt verbessern, erweitern oder anpassen.
