So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Supporting Software
Supporting software is a grab bag that includes all sorts of things that are used in conjunction with the software packages listed earlier. Some of these packages can be used to write standalone SNMP applications. Table F-5 lists several supporting software packages. Most of these are freely available and can be used with little or no previous experience.
