It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Final Words
Our goal in this chapter was twofold: to provide both specific and generic scripts for system administration tasks. More to the point, we wanted to show you what's possible and get you thinking about how you might write scripts that provide elaborate custom monitoring features. If you're thinking creatively about what you can do with SNMP, we've succeeded.
