So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Review of Arithmetic and Algebra
The authors understand that wide differences exist in the mathematical backgrounds of readers of this book. Some readers might have taken various courses in algebra, calculus, and matrix algebra, while others might never have taken any mathematics courses or took such courses a long time ago.
Because this book emphasizes statistical concepts and the interpretation of spreadsheet results, no mathematical prerequisite other than elementary arithmetic and algebra is needed.
