Although this book focuses mostly on the components that VMM manages directly, a key component of any Software-Defined Datacenter (SDDC), is the monitoring of the services. In this chapter, we are going to discuss what is required to monitor and maintain the SDDC, using System Center 2016 Operations Manager (SCOM).
