It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Built-in Pipes
Angular pipes are a modernized version of Angular 1.x filters. Angular comes with a lot of predefined built-in pipes. We can use them directly in our views and transform the data on the fly.
The following is the list of all the pipes that Angular has built-in support for:
- DatePipe
- DecimalPipe
- CurrencyPipe
- LowercasePipe and UppercasePipe
- JSON Pipe
- SlicePipe
- async Pipe
