Writing E2E tests using Protractor

In the preceding section, you learned to write your first test script using Protractor. In this section, we will extend our example and add more meat to it.

Let's take a look at the use cases we will automate in our example:

1. We will check whether our home page has the title Testing E2E.
2. We will check whether the element with the firstPara ID is displayed on the page.
3. We will assert that the class attribute of the element with the firstPara ID is equal to 'custom-style'.
4. Finally, we read the current URL of the page and check whether it's equal to the value we pass in the assertion.

Let's now write our E2E spec for this. In the app.e2e.spec.ts file, add the following lines of code:
