I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Your data is often the heart of your business. Protecting this most valuable asset is a central concern for any business. Exposure of sensitive data has resulted in numerous scandals, undesirable public exposure, and costly disclosure of company secrets. Increasingly, governments are making company directors personally liable for taking "every reasonable step" to protect certain classes of sensitive data. Because of this, most new data-related initiatives consider data encryption a required component, which means that we are now tasked with understanding the encryption capabilities in SQL Server 2005.
