Acknowledgments

Writing my first book was an exciting, albeit daunting, endeavor. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family and friends for their support. In Hong Kong, Penn and Bonan, and in Dubai, Mélanie and Salman, have always encouraged me to pursue my passion for frontier assets in finance.

I have had the privilege of receiving guidance from leading practitioners in their respective fields, whose collective expertise has significantly elevated the quality of this work. Alexander Unterrainer clarified several foundational concepts. Théophile Barry enriched the discussion on carry and discounting. James Newbury offered insightful comments on the discounting and staking pricing sections. Aurélien Dworniczek contributed invaluable input on forward rates pricing. Sofiane El Kouarati shared his insights on the section on options. Laurent Lin provided practical feedback on pricing and discounting.

Huan has been a constant support, and I am grateful for the patience and insightful conversations throughout the writing process. This project would not have come to fruition without such support.

It has been an incredible honor to work on this project, and I would like to thank my editors for their trust.

This work represents my views, as the author, and not necessarily those of my current or former affiliations, employers, or any other organization.
