So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Creating a Trial Balance and Income Statement
In Chapter 2, The Basic Model for Financial Reporting, we began work on our Power BI model by loading and relating the tables, starting the process of building a semantic model. This gave Power BI information on the context between the tables, providing the basis to relate the various elements of data. Good practices in data modeling are the foundation of Power BI. However, so far, we haven't visualized anything, and we're sure that many of you will be keen to see something tangible.
