How to do it...

Follow these steps to understand how Flask-Login can be integrated with a Flask application:

1. To use Flask-Login, first modify the application's configuration, which is in flask_authentication/my_app/__init__.py, as follows:

from flask_login import LoginManager

# Do other application config

login_manager = LoginManager() 
login_manager.init_app(app) 
login_manager.login_view = 'auth.login' 

In the preceding code snippet, after importing the LoginManager class from the extension, we created an object of this class.
