I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Setting up to run the movie-similarities-1m.py script on a cluster
Alright, it's time to actually run this script on a real Spark cluster in the cloud, here we go. Remember that we're going to be racking up some real charges here, it's going to cost real money to run this on Amazon Web Services, so remember to terminate your cluster when you're done. It should only cost you a few dollars to run this once, but if you have any doubts about your ability to remember to terminate this cluster, don't do it, just see how I do it. It's going to be cheaper and a lot safer that way.
