When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Running and checking the test
In the code that we just added to the post.test.js, the dummy auth object and post object refer to the same user, thus running this test in the command line will prompt Jest to generate a snapshot that will contain the delete option and also pass the test.
To run the test, go into the project folder from the command line:
npm run test
The test output will show that the test passed:
The recorded snapshot that is generated, when this test runs successfully for the first time, is added automatically to a _snapshots_ folder in the tests folder. This snapshot represents the state where the delete button is rendered ...
