So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The development of modern data generation, collation, creation of spatial database and computer assisted cartography opens new possibilities for spatio-temporal analysis in geography. The combined use of remote sensing (RS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) provides better prospects of environmental monitoring and forecasting over wider areas within a limited time span (Singh 1999). It would be easy to develop predictive model capabilities for planning and management in order to achieve effective public policy in the years to come (Singh 1996).
