About the Author

Daniel Peris is Senior Vice President at Federated Investors in Pittsburgh, where he oversees dividend-focused portfolios. He is the author of two prior books on investing, The Strategic Dividend Investor (2011) and The Dividend Imperative (2013). Prior to transitioning into asset management, Peris was a historian of modern Russia and the author of a book and several articles on Soviet political culture in the 1920s and 1930s.
