So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preface
In my 40 years of experience in the software industry, I have worked on dozens of projects, seen successes and failures, and constantly strived to understand how projects and project managers achieve success. I have been incredibly fortunate in having worked with some of the best systems engineers, software developers, and project managers one could ever imagine, as well as some of the worst, and everything in between. During that time, I witnessed accomplished software engineers, who were competent in the software developer domain, struggle and frequently fail as software project managers. All too often, their software projects failed as well.
