Component Suppliers

Photon and Core boards are available from a wide range of suppliers and from Particle itself. (Adafruit and Sparkfun Electronics are good suppliers for hobbyists.) You will also find kits, shields, and other interesting Photon/Core-compatible modules.

Parts

Most of the parts used in this book are available in the Maker’s Kit available directly from Particle. This is by far the easiest way to source your components. Please note that the contents of the Maker’s Kit may change, so check the contents list before buying. All of the components are also available individually or as parts of other kits from other suppliers. The following sections list these parts and will give you some help finding them.
