When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Integrating Web Components with a Web Framework
In the previous chapters, we have either created Web Components from scratch or used a library to create Web Components. We even created a single-page web app using just Web Components. But what if we have an already-existing project? What if this is a monolithic frontend web application and we need a way to use a web component in this project? And what if we want to use a web component for a quick prototyped functionality without much overhead? This could save a lot of effort in both time and money.
This chapter is just for scenarios like this one; here we will look into ways in which we can use Web Components in already-existing projects.
