I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Pre-requisite for API calls
You, as a user, will need to register for an API key and this can be done by following the steps as shown here:
- Go to the following URL and register for a free account: https://developers.giphy.com
- Once you are done creating an account, create an app by clicking on the Create New App button at the top, as follows:
- Once you are done creating the app, you will be dropped onto a dashboard page where you can see your registered apps along with the API key required, as shown in the following screenshot:
