So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

4.1 Branches per Rebase zusammenführen
Das Rebasing gehört ebenfalls zum Branching-Modell von Git. Bisher haben Sie die Branches mit dem git merge-Befehl zusammengeführt. Mit dem Rebasing können Sie Commits aus anderen Branches übernehmen, ohne einen Merge durchzuführen.
Beim normalen Mergen werden beide Branches zusammengeführt und gegebenenfalls entsteht ein Merge-Commit. Anders sieht es allerdings beim Rebasing aus.
