I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
GitHub
One of the biggest names in code hosting, GitHub is probably the most well-known place to store your code. If you want to move from GitLab to GitHub, thankfully there's an easy way to do it:
- From the main screen, click the + icon up at the top and then select New Project. On this page, select the Import project tab:
- Click the GitHub button and you'll be taken to the Import repositories from GitHub page. The content on this page will differ depending on whether you're using your own GitLab instance (and haven't enabled the GitHub integration) or if you're using an instance integrated with GitHub, such as GitLab.
