So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
The os/user package contains the Current function, which provides the os.User type pointer. The User contains the HomeDir property, which contains the path of the current user's home directory.
Note that this won't work for the cross-compiled code because the implementation depends on the native code.
