I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What is Go?
Go is a programming language created by Google employees in 2007. At the time of its creation, the goal was to build a language that was fast, safe, and simple. Go first officially released its 1.0 version in 2012 and is one of the fastest growing programming languages today. According to the Stack Overflow 2018 Developer Survey, Go is ranked in the top five of the most-loved languages and the top three in the most-wanted languages.
Go powers many large-scale web infrastructure platforms and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
