Appendix C. SketchUp Keyboard Shortcuts
The key to working efficiently with Google SketchUp is learning the keyboard shortcuts. If you know the keyboard shortcuts, you don't need to spend time moving the mouse cursor all around the interface; you can simply press the keyboard shortcut and get instant access to commands and tools.
Main Interface Shortcuts
Most of the major menu commands and tools have their own keyboard shortcuts. This appendix breaks them up into logical groupings.
If you want to change any of the keyboard shortcuts, System Preferences includes a Shortcuts panel for making changes. Choose Window
Note
Chapter 2 offers more details on creating custom keyboard shortcuts.
If you find that the keyboard shortcuts aren't working, then you can reset all shortcuts to their defaults using the Reset All button in the Shortcuts panel of the System Preferences dialog box.
Warning
When installing an update, the default keyboard shortcuts are deleted and the new defaults are not enabled by default. Use the Reset All button to enable the new defaults.
