It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Understanding the importance of HTML and CSS
In general, HTML and CSS serve to provide customizations for the appearance of a web application or page. Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) concerns itself with the overall structure of the web elements, while Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is used to specify the visual presentation of those elements. It is important to note that HTML and CSS are not programming languages; they are simply types of markup tools that are used to style the data that one wants to display.
