I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Advanced features
The first seven chapters of this book taught us how to create powerful Alexa Skills and Lex chatbots by using other services such as S3, DynamoDB, and external APIs. In Chapter 8, Improving User Experience for Your Bots, we looked at some of the advanced features that are built into Lex and Alexa.
We first learned how to create information cards for Lex. This allowed us to send the user more visual information than the basic messages we were sending before. Adding these cards provided a huge boost to the user experience.
