16.3.1 Supervised Techniques

Two common forms of machine learning techniques are supervised learnin g a nd unsupervised

learning algorithms. The former focuses on predicting the k nown p roperties of data, while the sec-

ond focuses on discovering unknown knowledge from data.

Supervised learning techniques construct an internal
