So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
chapter 14 Our 12-month diary
A lot can happen in 12 months, even if you have very little time to pack in extra stuff! This is the timeline of the first 12 months of our project, Five Point Five, which, as you will see, included plenty of ups and downs.
I have included this here so you can see that it is never plain sailing when you start a life-changing project. It doesn’t matter how shiny someone’s efforts look from the outside, there are always ups and downs when creating something from nothing. For us, the experience was mainly exciting and positive. But it was intense, hard work and sometimes exhausting at the same time!
