It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Holds a specified amount of blank space within the flow of a page. It is often used to maintain space within table cells for correct display in Navigator.
Attributes
type=vertical|horizontal|blockSpecifies the type of spacer:
verticalinserts space between two lines of text,horizontalinserts space between characters, andblockinserts a rectangular space.size=numberSpecifies a number of pixels to be used with a vertical or horizontal spacer.
height=numberSpecifies height in number of pixels for a block spacer.
width=numberSpecifies width in pixels for a
blockspacer.align=valueAligns
blockspacer with surrounding text. Values are the same as for the<img>tag.
