Chapter 11. Backup sets
This chapter describes the backup set enhancements in Tivoli Storage Manager V5.4. First
we provide a brief overview of backup sets. Then we discuss the following new V5.4 functions
that can be used with a backup set:
Creattion of a backup set table of contents (TOC).
Generation of backup sets to a specific point-in-time.
Multiple nodes data included in backup set.
Support of image data in backup sets.
Display of contents of a backup set and selection of individual files for restore.
Improved tracking of backup sets.
