PROPERTIES OF THE PROSCENIUM THEATRE

This chapter goes into greater detail about the spaces and devices that are generally found in a proscenium theatre. This type of theatre is given special prominence, since it is the most commonly found and since it is the type of venue that allows for the greatest amount of spectacle and use of scenery. If you are producing a ballet, opera, or Broadway musical, this is the theatre for you.
